Mold Removal

Your Certified Mold Removal Specialists.

Mold and mildew have the ability to grow anywhere and on anything if the conditions are right.  Mold requires an abundance of moisture in a confined area with proper temperature to flourish.

Usually this occurs when a property experiences a water loss; burst pipe, sewage back-up, water heater failure, etc.  If water damage restoration efforts are not completed properly, including complete structural drying, moisture can be trapped in wall and floor cavities and, with a lack of ventilation, can spawn the growth of fungus causing mold damage.

Mold can also flourish in situations where there is a slow leak which goes undetected over a long period of time.  Without the removal of mold, it can potentially cause significant respiratory problems, especially for children, the elderly and people who suffer from allergies. Our professional team of mold remediation contractors and mitigation specialists will make sure your home is healthy.

At J.F. Davis Construction, we are knowledgeable on how to approach and mitigate any issues concerning mold. We employ the latest technologies for identifying the source and extent of the mold and utilize the skills of qualified project managers for formulating a full and complete scope of work for a successful completion of your mold abatement or remediation project.  We also offer comprehensive follow up services, conducting indoor air quality assessments to insure that there is no potential for future issues with mold resulting from the remediation process.

Basement Mold.
Basements are susceptible to moisture especially if you have experienced flood and water damage. But mold can also grow even if you have had a flooded basement cleanup or from other circumstances. If ground water is seeping in to your home and you maintain a constant temperature of at least 68 degrees in the house, you may have mold growth without your knowledge. A damp musty smell and wall discoloration are all common signs you may have a mold problem in the basement.
